A 42-year-old man arrested in connection with Sunday's murder of loyalist paramilitary John '˜Bonzer' Boreland was released unconditionally on Tuesday night.
Ulster Defence Association (UDA) member John Boreland, 46, was shot several times with a shotgun outside his apartment on Sunday night.
Stephen Farry, the Alliance justice spokesman, said the shooting was a “reminder of the grip paramilitaries have over many communities” across Northern Ireland.
