Carlisle Memorial, between the centre of Belfast and the north of the city, closed in 1980.
In 2012, it was within days of being declared dangerous.
In this seven-minute film, the Belfast Buildings Trust shows the £1.5m emergency work that has been done to former ministers and parishioners.
