Cathy Martin - VIP: Tempted by hottest catwalk make-up trends

Danish cosmetic giant GOSH made an impressive runway debut at Belfast FASHIONWEEK this year.

Fashionistas are set to be tempted by this season's hottest make-up products straight off the catwalk.

From lash precision mascara to electric blue eyeliner, make-up guru Paddy McGurgan set pulses racing last week.

GOSH has also become the must-have treat for the celebrity jet set. Fans include Mischa Barton, Sophie Anderton, Danielle Lloyd and local lass Jayne Wisener from Sweeney Todd, who all recently sported the GOSH look courtesy of the talented make-up artist. Nails too, took colour very seriously as nail artist Peter Gilroy polished pink, purple, navy and glitter on all the models' nails.

Premium Vodka

United Wine Merchants has announced the addition of Russia's number one premium vodka, Russian Standard, to its portfolio.

The announcement marks a major coup for the Craigavon-based wholesalers as Russian Standard has received global recognition and, with the vodka market representing the largest and fastest growing category within the spirits sector in the UK, United Wine Merchants are confident Russian Standard has the necessary quality and credentials to fulfil its massive potential.

Guest Speaker

University Of Ulster lecturer and businessman Dr Norry McBride was guest speaker at the March B4B event at the University Of Ulster campus on York Street in Belfast. Dr McBride spoke on The Trials and Tribulations of bringing the Harley-Davidson Franchise to Northern Ireland in a presentation attended by B4B members and no doubt a few hairy bikers!

What a racket

Tennis legends Bjorn Borg and Pat Cash officially opened the new bedroom wing at five-star Culloden Estate and Spa in Holywood recently. And VIP caught up with them for a chat.

They were both raving about Belfast and what a fabulous time they were having here – no doubt courtesy of the deluxe five-star treatment at the former Bishop's residence. The world famous tennis stars were amongst the first guests to enjoy the luxurious surroundings of the 26 magnificent new rooms. The total investment of 3.5 million has brought the full complement of bedrooms to 105 and they include a mix of beautifully appointed bedrooms, suites and even two opulent duplex suites. Oooh, fancy!
