Britpop legends Oasis will be in Northern Ireland later this year for two shows in Belfast's Odyssey Arena.
The Manchester band, fronted by fractious brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, return to Ulster as part of a UK tour to promote upcoming new album Dig Out Your Soul.

After forming in 1991, Oasis were signed to Creation records and saw their debut album Definitely Maybe top the charts in 1994.

The record became one of the defining moments of the Britpop era, and sparked a new emphasis on British music and culture.

Definitely Maybe began a tumultuous but hugely successful career which has seen more than 40 million records sold.

While Oasis's creative and commercial peak may have been in the mid-Ninties, they continue to have a dedicated fanbase and remain a popular live draw.

Oasis perform at the Odyssey arena on October 29 and 30. Tickets are on sale now and available from 0870 243 4455 or online at www.ticketmaster.ie.
