Parade not an issue for point-scoring
IN relation to the upcoming homecoming parade in Belfast, I wish to put on record my gratitude to the brave men and women who have gone to Iraq and Afghanistan, leaving behind family and friends, in order to fight in Her Majesty's Armed Forces.
Give troops a welcome home their forefathers were denied
THIS week the ordinary, decent people of Ireland have an opportunity to finally unite, to welcome home the brave young servicemen and women, from all parts of Ireland, who have recently returned from active service in Afghanistan.
