COULD someone tell me how moving money from one bank to another, to make sure you have no more than £50,000 in one bank, is going to help the economy of this country?
The only way the economy of a country can be improved is for that country to export more than it imports.

When you have a government which tells us that we could well do without farmers and import all the food we need, then you don't need to look further to find out who is to blame for the fix we are in.

When you have a government which imports cheap Brazilian beef, cheap Danish bacon, cheap Thailand chicken and cheap New Zealand butter and cheese, to keep down the income of British farmers, and at the same time sits and watches while building contractors, bricklayers and other tradesmen double and triple their yearly income and increase the prices of houses to a ridiculous level, and does nothing about it, you don't need to search further for those responsible for the trouble we are in.

Why didn't Tony Blair import a few building contractors, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians and so on to keep down the price of houses as well as the price of food?
