So much evil and badness despite the word of God

I HAVE lost count of the number of churches, mission halls, tents, indeed the many places of worship around Northern Ireland. Why is it that each day the news states so many people here kill and maim their fellow man? Or we learn of adults watching the 'net', of children and old people and young being beaten on our streets and in their homes.
These sick minds – do they get pleasure from this? They could not be called Christians, in any sense of the word.

I have never seen so much evil and pure badness around. Yet so many are seen and heard to preach the good word of God.

It seems very odd to me, with all this talk of religion in this small country.
