Why is there no border on UTV?

I READ with interest the letter from Proud Ulsterman in Tyrone.
He asked: "Why is the DUP not outraged by the RTE's weather broadcasts? There is no border at all in them."
Unless my sight is failing me, one only needs to look at the weather map of Ulster Television and you will see that there also is no border.
Maybe someone in Ulster Television would like to give a reason for this?
