Bob Geldof has reportedly reunited with his family, visiting daughter Peaches’ two young sons following the sudden death of their mother.
The Live Aid organiser flew into Heathrow Airport from the US before meeting his daughter Pixie at his home in south-west London, according to the Daily Mirror.
He later met Peaches’ husband Tom Cohen and their children Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, who is almost one.
The Sun said that he visited the children at Tom’s parents’ family home in south-east London.
His visit came as he faces what could be several weeks’ wait to find out what caused his 25-year-old daughter’s tragic death.
A post-mortem examination has proved inconclusive and toxicology test results could take two to three weeks.
Meanwhile, Peaches’ sister Pixie has cancelled her scheduled DJ set at the Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival in California.
An event rep said that Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, a close friend of Pixie’s, is also no longer planning to attend the festival, which begins on Friday, E! News reported.
The body of mother-of-two Peaches, which was found at her home in Wrotham, Kent, on April 9, has been released to her family to allow funeral arrangements to be made, a coroner’s spokesman has said.
Any inquest is not expected to be opened and adjourned by the coroner until after the results of the toxicology tests are known.
