VIDEO: North West 200

RAIN and fading light put the brakes on the final qualifying session for the 80th International North West 200.

The organisers cancelled the final session for 600cc Supersport machines in the interests of safety around 8.30pm on Thursday night.

The majority of grid positions for Saturday's races will be determined by Tuesday night's times, after speeds on Thursday reduced dramatically because of the conditions.

Kiwi Bruce Anstey will start the Superbike races from pole position after posting the fastest lap for the class on Tuesday at 121.63mph.
