THE king of the arrows - Phil Taylor - speaks to the News Letter website ahead of a prestigious darts tournament in Belfast.

The 14-times World champion is in Northern Ireland to participate in the latest leg of the Darts Premier League - to be held at the Odyssey Arena on Thursday night.

Over 7,000 people are expected to pack into the entertainment venue to watch the cream of the profession showcase their skills on the oche.

Led by Taylor, stars such as Raymond Van Barneveld, James Wade, John Part and Mervyn King will battle it out in the round-robin competition.
