ONE of the four police officers killed in the horrific car crash on Sunday will be buried today on what would have been his fourth wedding anniversary.
It has also emerged that another of the officers and his fiancee were expecting their second child when he was killed.

Kenneth Irvine will be buried by his wife Andrea at Kilkeel Presbyterian Church, four years to the day after they married.

The 30-year-old also leaves behind a six-month-old son, Callum.

Kevin Gorman and his fiancee Debbie already had a baby girl named Shannyn and were looking forward to their wedding and the birth of their second child when he was killed.

He will be buried after Requiem Mass in his home village of Drumaness today.

Another of the four men, James Magee, who was 27, originally from Dromore but lived in Newcastle, will be buried from Dromore Cathedral today.

He is mourned by his mother and father, Freda and Bawn, and two sisters Rachel and Sarah.

The final member of the tragic four, Declan Greene, will be buried after Mass near his home just outside Kilkeel tomorrow.

The 39-year-old former fisherman lived in the Ballymartin townland with his wife Roisin and was the father of three boys and a girl.

Const Greene gave up fishing to work ashore and joined the police to make a difference to his community.
