A5 upgrade 'will improve city links'

NORTH WEST: Improvements to the road linking Londonderry and Dublin will "significantly enhance the prospects of investment and regeneration" for the north west, Foyle MP Mark Durkan has said.
The A5 route is being upgraded in a multi-million construction project which the SDLP leader said would also have positive knock-on effects for Strabane, Omagh and the whole of south Tyrone.
“It is important at every stage that all interested parties are able to acquire information, participate in the process and voice any concerns they may have,” he said.
