Dead donkey probe

BALLYCLARE: Newtownabbey Borough Council is investigating after reports that a donkey died because after an apparent dog attack in Ballyclare.
The animal was in a field off the Rashee Road last Thursday when it sustained injuries to the face and throat.

A vet attended the injured animal but it died.

The incident is being investigated by Newtownabbey Borough Council with a view to initiating legal proceedings.
