A YOUNG woman killed in a road crash on the M2 in Co Antrim yesterday has been named.
She was Caoimhe Delargy, 21, from Newtownabbey on the outskirts of Belfast.

She was killed when her car crashed on the north-bound lane of the M2 motorway, close to Ballymena at around midday on Easter Sunday.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident near the Larne Road roundabout.

It's understood she was taken to hospital in a critical condition, but later died.

The motorway was closed for most of the afternoon and reopened on Ssunday evening.

Ms Delargy's death was the first road fatality over the Easter period and brings the number of people killed on our roads so far this year to 24.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
