Man charged over Lurgan murder

A MAN has been charged with the murder of a 75-year-old pensioner in Lurgan.
Michael McGleenon's body was found at a house in Mansefield, off the Old Portadown Road in the Co Armagh town on November 12.

A 35-year-old man is expected to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Forensic officers carried out a detailed examination of the scene at the time of the incident which left locals in the quiet residential area shocked.
