A man in his 30's has been rescued from a fire at a flat in Rathcoole.
The blaze broke out in Ballyronan Park last night.

The man was rescued after a neighbour raised the alarm.

Geoff White from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, said that the man was being treated for smoke inhalation.

"Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus forced entry into the flat which was filled with smoke," he said.

"They found the occupant and brought him to safety."
