Pipe bomb attack in Tyrone village

AN overnight pipe bomb attack has caused damage to a house in Moygashel.
A device exploded at the back of the property in the Bleachfield Park area of the County Tyrone village during the early hours of Saturday morning.

A man, who was inside the house at the time of the attack, escaped injury. Substantial damage was caused to the back door.

Detectives in Dungannon are appealing for information and are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident.

A PSNI spokeswoman also warned the public not to touch or examine any suspicious objects but to contact police immediately.
