Police make appeal after teen assaulted

NEWTOWNABBEY: Police are appealing for information after an 18-year-old youth was assaulted near a community centre on Cloyne Crescent.
A police spokesman said the teenager was injured when two youths threw “something in his face”.

He was later taken to hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and saw anything suspicious to contact them.
