Racial motive behind Omagh arson attack

A mother and her six-year-old daughter escaped injury after an racist arson attack on their home in Co Tyrone, last night.
Police in Omagh say are appealing for information a bottle filled with flammable liquid was thrown into the back garden of the house at Meelmore Drive in Omagh at 5.20pm.

The resident, her six-year-old daughter and a friend who were in the house were not injured.

Police are treating the incident as racially motivated and are appealing for information.
