A NEW website that aims to help people share their experiences and provide an outlet for those suffering as a result of the conflict has been launched in Belfast.
And the site has won the support of a number of figures including former policemen and members of victims' groups.

Businessman Stephen Todd came up with the idea for the Shared Troubles site after one of his children asked: "Daddy, what were the Troubles?" as he drove his family past the Droppin' Well Inn in Ballykelly.

This was the site where 11 soldiers and six civilians died in an INLA bomb attack in December 1982.

Mr Todd was astounded to realise his children knew little if anything about the Troubles.
