BELFAST: Two police officers were injured in a collision with a stolen car in Belfast yesterday.
They were taken to hospital after the crash on the Upper Malone Road at around 4am. Their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening, said a PSNI spokesman.

The collision involved a police car and a VW Passat estate car which had been reported stolen as a result of a burglary the previous day in Glengormley.

After the collision two males fled the scene and disappeared across the Dub Playing Fields in the Upper Malone Road.
