Youths quizzed over gang attack

LONDONDERRY: A teenager is recovering after he was attacked and beaten by a gang of three people.
The 19-year-old was assaulted while walking in the Foyle Street area at around 2.30am on Saturday.

Two youths aged 17 have been arrested and are being quizzed by police.

The victim was treated in hospital for injuries to his head and body and has been discharged.

Officers cordoned off the scene of the assault as they conducted a search.
