Belfast is the fifth most popular tourist destination in the UK, according to a poll.
It comes after London, Manchester, Glasgow and Liverpool, based on reviews received by the TripAdvisor company.
Only Paris and New York are more popular world destinations for travellers than London.
The UK capital came third in annual travellers’ choice destination awards.
European cities dominated the world destinations popularity table, with New York City (in second place), San Francisco (seventh) and Sydney (10th) the only non-European destinations in the top 10.
Paris topped the world table and also headed the European table, in which London was second.
In the UK table Blackpool was in sixth place, followed by Birmingham, Torquay in Devon, Llandudno in Wales and Bristol.
A TripAdvisor spokesman said: “These awards honour the world’s best destinations as decided by those judges that really matter — travellers themselves. Now that the Jubilympics are over it’s vital that UK tourism continues to flourish so it’s great news that London is rated so highly among the world’s and Europe’s best destinations.”
The top 10 UK destinations were: 1. London; 2. Manchester; 3. Glasgow; 4. Liverpool; 5. Belfast; 6. Blackpool; 7. Birmingham; 8. Torquay, Devon; 9. Llandudno, Wales; 10. Bristol
