Hagan Homes, one of Northern Ireland’s largest homebuilders, has announced it is to build 250 new homes at a site at Ballygore in Antrim in a £30million development.

Construction has already started at the 16.6-acre ‘Ballyveigh’ site and the project will take up to five years to complete under main contractor Claudy-based JCL Contracts.

The first homes will be completed from September 2016, with prices starting from around £79,950.

“We are delighted to announce our plans for the new Ballyveigh site in Antrim,” said Jamesy Hagan, managing director of the family business.

“This will be the largest housing development started in Antrim in more than 10 years and is a clear indication of Hagan Homes’ confidence in the local market.

“It is also a further sign of rejuvenation in the construction sector.”

“Demand for superior homes offering value in Northern Ireland is high and the Ballyveigh development offers homebuyers the opportunity to live in a mature residential area off the Ballygore Road in Antrim.

The homes are designed to appeal to all demographics, whether first-time buyers, families, young professionals and downsizers, and will include one, two and three bedroom apartments, townhouses, semi-detached and detached homes.”

Established in 1988 and based Ballyclare, the company has built almost 3300 homes across Northern Ireland.
