Founded in 2009, AirPOS were the first in the world to develop what’s now known as multi-channel retail software, apps that help small retailers to process their sales both in the shops and also online.

In the last seven years the AirPOS team have raised almost £1 million pounds from investors both in Northern Ireland and also in the USA and Australia to help them build a product and a world-class team. Their software is now in use in more than 16 countries and in over 1000 sites but AirPOS aren’t stopping there.

Marty Neill, AirPOS founder and CEO said: “We’ve worked very tightly with a number of small retailers to make a system that we’re proud of and now we feel that the time is right to expand our team and operations to take AirPOS to the wider world.”

“Our journey so far helped a lot of people to sell online, and to take credit card payments in their shops and on the move and most importantly better understand their retail business. Still, with only 12% of European retailers selling online at the minute, we’ve an awful lot more work to do and are seeking investment to support some very ambitious aims.”

“Only two per cent of companies that apply to Crowdcube are accepted for listing on their platform,” Mr Neill explained, ”we can’t wait to put the AirPOS opportunity in front of the more than 35,000 investors on the Crowdcube platform and beyond in the coming weeks.”

AirPOS will be launching their crowdfunding campaign and the third version of their software on Thursday April 27th at 6:30pm in their Belfast offices in the Cathedral Quarter.
