Two new air routes from Belfast have been announced.
Budget airline easyJet said that from summer next year, it will be running flights from Belfast International Airport to Bordeaux, southern France, and to Jersey, in the Channel Islands.
The announcement comes as the airline marks its 15th year of using the airport, something it said would also be marked by a “water arch salute”.
The firm’s first route from the airport was to London Luton.
In the years since it estimates it has flown over 32m passengers to and from Belfast International Airport.
John Doran, managing director of the airport, said in a statement: “In this 50th anniversary year of Belfast International Airport we would like to wish easyJet a very happy 15th birthday in Northern Ireland.”
