The news comes as the retail scheme’s owners Killultagh Estates confirmed that it also intends to invest £200,000 in a transformational landscaping project for the retail park and shopping centre.

The landscaping project, which is also subject to planning approval, is due to be completed by January 2017 – which is also the date for the opening of retailer Lidl’s multi-million pound expansion at its store in Connswater.

Negotiations are also at an advanced stage for a number of other well-known retailers for positions in the scheme.
