Belfast Titanic Quarter celebrated the rally legend Paddy Hopkirk on Saturday.

A series of events took place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Belfast-born driver’s historic victory in the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally.

The day began with a cavalcade of old and new MINIs, driven by local and international drivers, from Stormont to Belfast City Hall.

There Paddy was named an Ambassador for Belfast.

The cavalcade then moved on to Titanic Belfast, where spectators enjoyed free admission to a spectacular Autotest at the Titanic Slipways.

There will be an autograph session, with the opportunity to meet Paddy as well as rally stars such as Kris Meeke and Jimmy McRae.

On Saturday evening, there will be a Gala Ball, sponsored by John Mulholland Motors, at Titanic Belfast.
