Co Londonderry fatal crash: accident recreation to be held tonight

A recreation of a fatal crash is to be staged tonight.

Police said that between 10pm and 11pm, its Collision Investigation Unit would organise the re-run of the accident on the Glenshane Road adjacent to Altnagelvin Hospital.

The real accident happened on the Glenshane Road area of Foyle close to the junction of the Drumahoe Road at about 1.50am on Sunday, July 13.

A 21-year-old male pedestrian died after being struck by a car.

Police appeal for anyone who was travelling on the Glenshane Road between 1.30am and 2.10am that night to ring them on 101.
