Balaclava-clad thug robs Belfast business

A man wearing a balaclava has carried out an armed robbery at a business.

It happened in the Summerhill Avenue area of east Belfast, near Stormont, on Monday at about 8.50pm.

On seeing the man the two members of staff left the reception area and locked themselves in a room.

It is believed that a sum of money and a laptop were stolen.

The man is described as being approximately 5’7” tall, with a strong Belfast accent, slim and in his late 20s or early 30s.
