Following the BBC ban on a song praising the republican hunger-strikers, a victims’ group has said the Celtic fans’ campaign to get Roll of Honour into the UK charts had “re-traumatised” victims.

Kenny Donaldson of Innocent Victims United said the “glorification of terrorism” is the “single greatest issue concerning the innocent victims and survivors of terrorism” and it should also concern wider society.

“Those who engage in these practices are wilfully re-traumatising those who have already suffered most,” he said.
