Gang knocked man’s teeth out with golf clubs

The PSNI is appealing for information after a racist attack in Belfast in which a man had two teeth knocked out by a gang armed with golf clubs.

The attack happened on Monday 21 April 2014 between 9.00pm and 9.30pm in the Lawnmount Street area of East Belfast.

Police said a female and two males reported that they were assaulted with golf clubs by a group of approximately 15 people, which included one female.

“All of those attacked sustained bruising and cuts, while one of the males lost two teeth,” police said.

Police are asking anyone who may have information relating to the assault to contact police in the Case Progression Team at Musgrave on 101 or alternatively via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
