A hospital worker had her car hijacked as she attempted to open a gate at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Friday morning.

The woman had stepped out of her vehicle to open the secure entrance at the Grosvenor Road side of the hospital just before 7am when a male jumped into the car and drove off.

The car stopped a short distance away to pick up two other males then made off in the Falls Road direction. The man driving the car was described as being mid-late 20’s, around 5’10” tall of medium build with short brown hair and was wearing a grey sweater with horizontal stripes with light coloured trousers.

One of the two males picked up was described as being in his mid 30’s, around 5’7” tall of stocky build with dark brown shaven hair. He was wearing a white track suit with a dark coloured T-shirt underneath.
