Police have arrested a 36-year-old man on suspicion of several drug offences following the discovery of a cannabis factory during the search of a house in the Muckamore area of Antrim on Friday morning.
Suspected cannabis plants with an estimated value of between £13,000-£15,000 were seized.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug, possession of a class B drug with intent to supply and being concerned in the production of a class B controlled drug.
PSNI Chief Inspector Natalie Wilson: “This drug search and arrest shows that we continue to work hard to tackle the issue of drug supply and distribution in the Antrim area.
“I am glad to have taken these drugs out of circulation but would continue to encourage the community to work with us to put the issue of drugs on the back foot.”
