Man charged with attempted murder after Belfast stabbing

A 26-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing incident in the Brittons Parade area of Belfast on Saturday night.

He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court this morning (Monday 29 August). As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

After the stabbing a 23-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
