Two men have been charged with a murder linked to a suspected Belfast crime feud.

The men, aged 32 and 37, are accused of killing 28-year-old Stephen Carson in the south of the city last week.

They are due to appear in Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

Detectives have been granted more time to question another man, aged 39, in relation to the murder.

Mr Carson was shot dead at his Walmer Street home around 10.45pm on Thursday.

Police have issued an appeal for information on the movements of a dark coloured saloon car with Republic of Ireland number plates seen around the time of the attack.
