Police are treating attacks on a house and car in Larne as a hate crime.

The incident took place in the Herbert Avenue area around 1.10am on Thursday. It is understood the car - which had several windows damaged - belonged to a Lithuanian man.

The front window of the house was also damaged and abusive graffiti was also painted on the dwelling.
