Woman ordered to pay compensation for dog attack on child

A Belfast woman has been ordered to pay compensation to the parents of a five-year old boy who was attacked by her dog.

Serena Lee Creighton, from Ebor Street in the south of the city, was ordered to pay £200 to the victim’s parents.

She was also ordered to pay £75 in costs to Belfast City Council, who brought the prosecution, while the Magistrate also imposed control conditions upon the defendant’s dog’s licence.

The incident took place in June last year.
