A group of Ballymena pupils were left disappointed at the weekend when their trip to Krakow was ruined after the flight was cancelled at the last minute.
Thirty pupils from Slemish College had been looking forward to visiting the Polish city on Sunday for a three day excursion.
However the trip had to be postponed following news of the cancellation of the flight.
A spokesperson for the school said: “Due to the cancellation of this morning’s flight to Kraków, the planned visit will not go ahead. All staff involved want to express their disappointment at having to make such a decision.
“It would have been a pleasure to take such a lovely group away. Full details about refunds will follow later this week.”
