Three bunches of fllowers for Gerry Anderson left outside the BBC

Fans of Gerry Anderson have left flowers outside the BBC headquarters in Belfast.

Three bunches have been wedged into two metal structures at the entrance to the famous Ormeau Av building in tribute to the much-loved broadcaster.

One bunch of flowers, from Clive and Ona in Omagh, came with a card that reads: “For Joy and Humour, Thank you! Gerry”.

Anderson died last week aged 69.
