A new wall mural in north Belfast quotes a Bible verse in support of the campaign for the UK to leave the European Union.

The Tigers Bay Brexit slogan ‘Vote Leave EU’ is accompanied by a reference to Revelation chapter 18 verse 4.

The full verse states: “And I heard another voice from the Heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye not be partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

This Bible verse is often used in sermons about the oppression of the poor by the strong.

A referendum is being held on June 23 to decide whether the United Kingdom should leave or remain in the European Union.
