Help to raise funds for BHF Heart Nurses

I write to appeal to your readers to support a major fundraising appeal in Northern Ireland that will provide desperately needed British Heart Foundation (BHF) Heart Nurses.

BHF Northern Ireland’s Heart Nurse Appeal is raising vital funds to fund a Heart Failure Nurse at Altnagelvin Hospital, Londonderry, and a Genetic Heart Nurse based in Belfast, who will cover the whole of Northern Ireland.

One easy way your readers can support the appeal is to visit their local grocery store, newsagent and other businesses and enter a prize draw to win an exclusive, hand-crafted milk churn autographed by myself. This is a unique item that has been beautifully crafted by Louise Lester at LLCrafts in Ballymena. The draw closes on Friday, December 7.

Even if you don’t get a chance to enter this fantastic prize draw, you can still make a donation to the appeal or organise your own fund-raising event by contacting Gail McKee on 028 9268 3377.

BHF Northern Ireland urgently needs your help to raise money to fund these vital BHF Heart Nurses who will care for and support more people with frightening and debilitating heart problems.
