Poignant Remembrance Day services were held yesterday around the province as families took part in commemorative services.
In Cookstown the children of murdered prison officer David Black - Kyle and Kyra - laid a wreath in memory of their father.
One year on from his murder, on November 1, police launched a fresh appeal for information.
Mr Black, 52, was shot dead on the M1 in Co Armagh as he drove to work at Maghaberry Prison in Co Antrim.
He was the first prison officer to be murdered in Northern Ireland in almost 20 years.
