The brutal murder of Prison Officer Ismay comes straight from the terror book of some who would have us believe their condemnation is genuine.

Agitation inside the prison, supplemented by murder outside is the Provo template.

So, what makes this murder different from the 29 Provo murders of brave prison officers? Nothing, except the perceived perpetrators!

What is vile and wrong now was equally vile and wrong when the label of the murderer was ‘Provisional’.

Indeed, how many former Provo prisoners, now Sinn Fein politicians, themselves in the Maze cheered the murders of prison officers?

Yet, while they posture to be seen to condemn the latest murder, they utter not one word of regret or rebuke for the murders of their ‘inextricably linked’ IRA.

It is such hypocrisy at the top and heart of government which many of us find nauseating.
