LEADING Union flag protestors Willie Frazer and Jamie Bryson are now understood to be sharing the same prison cell.

Mr Frazer’s wife Anne tonight told the News Letter that she had been speaking to her husband on the phone and “he was in good enough form”.

She said: “I was talking to him a couple of hours ago and he said he was doing not too bad.

“So far so good, he said to me.

“He also said that today he and Jamie Bryson had been moved into the same cell.”

Mrs Frazer said she has been “worried sick about William since he was arrested”.

“I am worried about him of course, especially about his health,” she said. “He is expected to see his solicitor tomorrow and we may hear when the next court date is.

“I have been living on adrenalin, but that also means I can’t sleep. But I am starting to get back into a routine.

“He has a hospital appointment on Friday and he would need to be able to attend that.”

She added that earlier claims that her husband may be going on hunger strike, “were news to William”.

“He said he did not know where news that he was going to go on hunger strike came from”, she said.
