Clinton to make Ulster visit

FORMER American president Bill Clinton is planning to return to Belfast next month.

A brief visit has been organised in advance of a major economic summit on Northern Ireland in Washington on October 19.

It is being organised by his wife, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Mr Clinton was heavily involved in the Northern Ireland peace process, especially in the run-up to the signing of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement. He first visited Belfast in December 1995.
