Hundreds protest Bush visit

HUNDREDS of anti-George Bush protestors have held a demonstration this afternoon just two hours before his arrival.

Trade union activists, students, children, and office workers were among the scores of people whi turned out for the demonstration.

Many carried banners with slogans including 'We don't want your war', World's No1 warmonger' and 'Emperoor of Hate'.

Organiser Sean Mitchell said: "George Bush is the most unpopular President in the history of the United States.

"He has brought war and destruction and since he took power over one million Iraqis have died."

The Queen's University student, who studies Modern History, also gave a speech in front of the crowds and urged more mass demonstrations against the President.

Another protest is expected at 2.30pm at Stormont.
