LORRY DRIVER KILLED IN M-WAY ACCIDENT IS NAMED

A 42-year-old lorry driver has died after his vehicle overturned on the M1 onslip at Moira.

He was Richard Mullan from the Tempo Road area of Enniskillen, County Fermanagh.

The accident, which only involved Mr Mullan's lorry, happened at about 12.30pm on Thursday afternoon on the countrybound on slip.

It is understood that Mr Mullan, who was married with four children, was a former firefighter.

The onslip remained closed for several hours after the accident.
