Male subjected to sexual assault

A MAN has been the victim of an overnight sexual assault in north Belfast, police have confirmed.

The victim, who is in his 20s, was set upon by another male in the Donegall Street - Frederick Street area of the city during the early hours of Thursday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 2am.

The assailant was wearking a dark coloured jacket, white trousers and had short grey hair, according to a police spokeswoman.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the area or may have information to contact them immediately.
